Abstract
The study aimed to reveal the reality of using artificial intelligence applications in developing the teaching skills of basic stage teachers in the capital, Amman. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared a tool represented by a questionnaire consisting of (42) items distributed over four axes; It is the focus of the use of artificial intelligence applications in planning, the focus of the use of artificial intelligence applications in teaching implementation, the focus of the use of artificial intelligence applications in evaluating students’ education, and the focus of obstacles to the use of artificial intelligence applications. The study sample consisted of (80) teachers, including (40) female teachers in schools. Government, and (40) female teachers in private schools were selected by the available random method during the second semester (2023/2024 AD). The results of the study showed that the overall average degree of the reality of using artificial intelligence applications was moderate, and that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of the reality of using artificial intelligence applications according to the variables of academic qualification, years of experience, type of school, and number of training courses. The study recommended the need to pay attention to employing all intelligence applications. Artificial intelligence in all academic subjects because of its positive effects on the learning outcomes of learners, and holding training courses for basic stage teachers on the use of artificial intelligence application techniques.
