Abstract
The aim of the current research aimed to identify the role of knowledge management requirements in achieving institutional excellence in industrial organizations in coast of Hadhramaut. A set of results were reached, most notably: that the level of knowledge management requirements was high with a mean of (3.81), and the level of availability of institutional excellence was high with a mean of (3.92). And the existence of requirements for knowledge management and institutional excellence in industrial organizations in coast of Hadhramaut, where the relationship was strong (R = 0.850), There are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the answers of the study sample members regarding the relationship between knowledge management requirements and institutional excellence in industrial organizations in Hadramaut Governorate due to personal and functional variables (gender, job title, educational level, years of service). and based on what was stated in the results, a number of recommendations were proposed, the most prominent of which are: giving sufficient time to workers to share and apply knowledge and creating sufficient space for thinking, creativity, and transformation.
