Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • Please provide the following:




    1. Cover Letter




    2. Publication Ethics
      Include a Publishing Ethics Declaration containing the following:




      • Conflicts of interest 




      • Funding information




      • A summary of each author's contribution to the manuscript






    3. All submissions must meet the following requirements:






    • Uniform margins of 2.54 cm at the top, bottom, left, and right of every page.




    • The line length should be 16.51 cm; text should be aligned flush-left (not justified).




    • The first line of each paragraph must be indented using the Tab key. All remaining lines should align with the left-hand margin, except for the abstract, block quotations, titles and headings, table titles and notes, and figure captions.




    • The title page must include: the manuscript title, full names of all authors (in both Arabic and English), affiliations/institutions, and email addresses of all authors.



    • Authors are required to format all references according to the APA 6th edition citation style, both in-text and in the reference list.



    • For English Articles: The manuscript should be in Tahoma font, with 12-point font size. A compressed font or any word-processing software settings that decrease the spacing between letters or words should be avoided. Line spacing between all text lines of the manuscript should be 1.5. Also, double spaces should be left after the title, headings, quotations, references and figure captions. English Template. For Arabic Aricles: The manuscript should be in Mohammed bold art font, with 12-point font size, Headings1 should be in GE SS TWO Bold font, and Headings2 should be in GE SS TWO Light font. A compressed font or any word-processing software settings that decrease the spacing between letters or words should be avoided. Line spacing between all text lines of the manuscript should be 1.5. Also, double spaces should be left after the title, headings, quotations, references and figure captions. Arabic Template.

    • The manuscript must conform to regulations, the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in About the journal and Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

When submitting a manuscript to the journal, the author should enclose a letter that includes the following elements:



  • Cover Letter.

  • Specific details about the manuscript (title, length, number of tables and figures);

  • A request for manuscript publication;

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor it is before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor);

  • Recommendations for potential reviewers or reviewers to avoid (optional)

  • Notice of any interests or activities that might be seen as influencing the research (e.g. an author has his own stock in a company that manufactures a drug used in his study);

  • A copy of the permission granted to reproduce or adapt any copyrighted material from another source.


The corresponding author should assure the editor that all authors are in agreement with the content of the manuscript before submitting an original or revised submission.


The author should include his/ her telephone number, e-mail address, and mailing address for future correspondence. In all correspondence, the author should include the complete manuscript title, and his/ her name.
