Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effect of teaching physics, using a strategy based on Marzano's model for learning dimensions, on the acquisition of physics concepts, science skills, scientific attitudes among high school students in Medina. The number of sample for the study was (60) students from second grade in secondary school. The sample was distributed in the manner systematic random into two groups, one experimental and the other control. To answer questions of the study, the researcher used a test of physics concepts, another test for science skills, and a questionnaire of scientific attitudes. The (t) test was used to analyze the results of students in experimental and control groups. The results showed exceed of the experimental group students on the students in the control group in physics concepts test and test of processes of science and the scientific measure of attitudes. In the light of the results, the study came out with several recommendations, such as designing and conducting training programs for science teachers on how to use a strategy based on Marzano's model of the dimensions of learning during and before service.
Key words: Marzano's model for learning dimensions, physics concepts, science skills, scientific attitudes
