Bar- on Emotional Quotient inventory translated by Agwa (2003) was administered before and after the intervention. The program lasted for three months. The data was treated using t-test and η2 . Results revealed that:
- There was a statistically significant difference at p<0.01 between the mean scores of the experimental group’s pre-post emotional intelligence inventory in favor of the post administration indicating the effectiveness of the program in developing emotional intelligence.
- There was a statistical significant difference at p<0.01 between the mean scores of the experimental and the control group in the post administration of emotional intelligence inventory in favor of the experimental group.
- There was no statistical significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group’s post and follow emotional intelligence inventory indicating the continuity of the effectiveness of the rehabilitative program in developing emotional intelligence even after three months of administration.
