الملخص

The study aimed to identify the level of critical thinking among gifted students. The sample consisted of (173) students from The King Abdullah II School for Excellence in Irbid, Jordan. To achieve the objectives of the study, The California Critical Thinking Skills Test was used, which standardized in the Jordanian environment by Rabadi (2004). The results showed that the level of critical thinking among gifted students was average degree, the results  also showed that  there were significant differences on the following skills: Analysis, Inference, Deduction, and Overall Reasoning Skills, that could be attributable to the gender in favor of females. The study recommended to activate the strategies and programs to construct a modern educational curricula, and to provide this curriculum for students  that based on the methods of critical thinking skills.
