الملخص

The research aims to examine the impact of Teaching unit on the development of creative thinking among gifted students of the first year intermediate in Jeddah, based on strategies of solving problems, in creative ways according to TRIZ theory. For this purpose the researcher prepared unit to help gifted female students acquire the skills of solving problems in creative ways based on TRIZ steps, and to develop the skills of creative thinking, such as (fluency, flexibility, and originality). The researcher chose ten problems from the content of social studies course for the first year intermediate to train the students on how to solve such problems in a creative way according to the steps of TRIZ methodology in problem-solving. Five creative strategies were also selected from TRIZ theory (division, separation, Preliminary offset work, Confrontation prior to imbalances, and Convert harmful into beneficial) matching well with these problems. After completion of the module and arbitration, it was applied to a sample of 20 gifted female students, who were selected randomly from the total of (60) students of the first year intermediate at the First Gifted School in Jeddah. The application lasted for three weeks during the first semester of the year 1433 H, averaging 30 hours of training. To measure the impact of the unit in developing creative thinking skills among the sample, Torrance Creative Thinking Test, formal version (b) was applied before and after the study unit. The results showed a statistically significant difference at the level of less than 0.01 between the mean scores of the sample in a test of creative thinking as a whole, In favour of post application. The value of "T" was (14.28) indicating a statistical significance at the level of less than 0.01. To calculate the amount of the impact of the unit on the development of creative thinking among the sample, ETA squared value (2) was calculated which was reaching 0.91. This value indicates that the amount of the effect of the unit on the development of creative thinking among the sample was very great.
