Abstract

The present study aims to examine the effectiveness of reflective thinking training program in the learning motivation of Qassim University preparatory year program male students. The study was conducted at Qassim University, KSA during the 2012-2013 academic year. The experimental design was followed to execute the purpose of this study by measuring the learning motivation before and after the training program. A random sample of (32) male students from level one were chosen as well as (16) for the experimental group and (16) for the control group. Data was collected using survey where students would determine the level of their learning motivation. The survey was consisted of (30) items, and was tested for reliability and validity.

Results showed that there are a statistical significant differences between the responses of the experimental and control group for the post measuring, these differences came in favor of the experimental group. Also, a significant statistical differences were noticed between the responses of the pre and post measuring in experimental group, these differences came in favor of the post measuring.
