Abstract
The study aimed to know the degree of use of virtual laboratories in teaching physics and their obstacles from the point of view of physics teachers in Aqaba Governorate. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The study sample reached 188 physics teachers from Aqaba Governorate. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared a questionnaire as a tool. The study consisted of 24 paragraphs divided into two axes. The study found that the degree of use of virtual laboratories in teaching physics and their obstacles, from the point of view of physics teachers in Aqaba Governorate, was high with an arithmetic average of (3.8567), and that the highest percentage was for training female students in using virtual laboratories, where it came in first place, with an arithmetic average of (4.0852). ), and the lowest percentage was for using virtual laboratories to provide feedback to female students. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (α≥0.05) between the average scores of physics teachers in Aqaba Governorate regarding the reality of using virtual laboratories in teaching physics due to the academic qualification variable, while there were differences due to the academic qualification variable. Based on these results, the study recommended the necessity of conducting a broad review of the existing literature on integrating virtual laboratories into physics education.
