Obstacles to implementing electronic administration in the colleges of Abyan University

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the obstacles to the application of electronic administration in the colleges of Abyan University from the point of view of the faculty members and the administrative body. The study sample amounted to (83) respondents from the total population of (279), which is a random stratified sample. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach and the questionnaire as a tool for the study, which consists of (51) paragraphs distributed over four areas: (the field of organizational obstacles - the field of technical obstacles - the field of human obstacles - the field of financial obstacles). The results of the study showed that the degree of obstacles to the application of electronic administration in the colleges of Abyan University from the point of view of the sample members was moderate, with an arithmetic average of (2.76). The standard deviation was (0.873), and the study came out with a number of recommendations, including: 1) Conduct training courses for university employees on how to use electronic administration with high efficiency. 2) The need to reconsider the structure of departments so that they can implement electronic management at the university.
