Factors of job satisfaction for workers in the private education sector in Saudi Arabia and their relationship with some demographic variables
Present study aimed to identify the level of job satisfaction among teachers and specialists of Special Education, and the nature of the differences in factors of job satisfaction among respondents in the light of gender, educational level, and the number of years of experience, and limited the current study to all workers (teachers, specialists) in the special education in the private sector and government in Saudi Arabia, where the researcher on the characteristics of the study tool (questionnaire), and the characteristics of the study sample and the credibility of their answers using the scale factors of job satisfaction for workers in the field of special education, and contains 80 items distributed on eight factors of satisfaction (satisfaction personal, social satisfaction, satisfaction with salary, satisfaction with the content of work, working conditions satisfaction, satisfaction with opportunities for promotion, supervision satisfaction, and satisfaction with the working group). And by (10) paragraphs of each factor of job satisfaction. The study sample consisted of 112 workers and working of all employees (teachers, specialists) in the sector of special education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the private sector and the government, have been randomly selected a simple society study.
The study found a range of results, including:
- That the level of overall satisfaction for the work was moderately, and arithmetical averages for the areas of the level of job satisfaction ranged between ( 1.76-2.65 ), was the highest of the field of "Satisfaction Profile" and a high degree, and came in second field, "satisfaction with the working group", a mean total (2.46 ) and to a high degree, followed by the third place area "social dissatisfaction" with an average account (2.35 ), and a high degree, and recent field rank "salary satisfaction" moderately, and the arithmetic average of the instrument as a whole (2.22) and moderately.
- There is no statistically significant differences in job satisfaction between males and females in the areas of (personal satisfaction, social satisfaction, salary satisfaction, and satisfaction with working conditions).
- And there were statistically significant differences between males and females in the level of job satisfaction in the areas of (work content, promotion opportunities, satisfaction with supervision, community work, the level of satisfaction as a whole), and the differences were in favor of females in all these areas.
- There is no statistically significant differences in job satisfaction among workers in the field of special education who hold specialty special education and who do not have majored in special education in the areas of (personal satisfaction, social satisfaction, salary satisfaction, and satisfaction with working conditions).
- And there are significant differences depending on the variable in the areas of specialization (the content of work, opportunities for promotion, supervision, community work, and the total score ) and all the differences were for the benefit of other disciplines.
- There is no statistically significant differences in job satisfaction among workers in the field of special education in the private sector and the public sector in the areas of (satisfaction with personal satisfaction social satisfaction salary, satisfaction with working conditions, satisfaction with working conditions, satisfaction with supervision, and satisfaction with the working group), and the total score of the scale.
- And there were statistically significant differences between workers in the public sector and private sector employees in the areas of (the content of work, opportunities for promotion).
- There is no statistically significant differences in job satisfaction among workers in the field of special education in the private sector and the public sector in the areas of (satisfaction with personal satisfaction with the content of work, satisfaction with working conditions, satisfaction with salary, satisfaction with working conditions, satisfaction with working conditions, satisfaction More opportunities for promotion, supervision satisfaction, and satisfaction with the working group), and the total score of the scale.
- And there were statistically significant differences between workers in the public sector and private sector employees in the areas of (social satisfaction, satisfaction with salary) and the differences were in favor of a class experience (over 10 years).
