The Impact of Professional Ethics on Job PerformanceAPPLIED Study on Private Health Facilities in the Republic of Yemen, Ma'rib Governorate

Abstract
This study aims to analyse the impact of the dimensions of professional ethics (honesty, integrity and transparency, responsibility, and mastery/proficiency) on the job performance of employees in private health facilities in Marib Governorate. The researcher adopted the analytical descriptive method, and data was collected via a questionnaire distributed to a stratified random sample, which yielded (131) responses. The results showed that the level of impact of professional ethics on job performance reached (83%), while the level of job performance itself reached (81.14%). The results confirmed a statistically significant relationship between all dimensions of professional ethics and job performance at a significance level (α=0.05), and that the level of job performance is significantly affected by all dimensions of professional ethics at a significance level (α=0.05). The study recommended: the necessity of promoting professional ethics as a fundamental standard for performance appraisal, and proposed systems for incentives and promotions for distinguished employees, and developing objective and transparent performance evaluation systems to improve job performance.
