Abstract
This study aims to shed light on the effect of digital culture and digital capabilities on improving the academic performance of faculty members in Yemeni universities. This is considered an effective means of enhancing the academic performance in higher education institutions, particularly in Yemen. The researcher used a descriptive-analytical approach to explain the effect of digital culture and digital capabilities on academic performance.
An electronic questionnaire was used as a data collection tool to reach the largest number of faculty members at Yemeni universities. A total of 131 forms were received and approved. The study concluded that digital capabilities support and improve academic performance, unlike digital culture, which has no effect on academic performance.
In light of these findings, the study recommends further research in this field, with a focus on examining the long-term effects of adopting digital technologies in higher education. It also recommends developing innovative educational models that leverage the potential of technologies.
