Impact of Strategic Management Practices on Building a Smart Organization (A Field Study on Telecommunications Companies Operating in Sana'a and Aden governorates)

Abstract
This research aimed at identifying the impact of strategic management practices in its individual dimensions in building the smart organization in its combined dimensions in cellular communication companies (Yemen Mobile, YOU, SABAFON) operating in Sana'a and Aden governorates. The descriptive and the analytical approaches were used, and the questionnaire was adopted as the main tool to collect data from the target sample. The research population consisted of (1750) elements, and a sample of (225) individuals was selected, who hold job titles (CEO / Executive General Manager, Executive Director of the sector, Senior Manager, Director of Department, Head of Department). (225) questionnaires were distributed to the sample, and (204) questionnaires were returned. The research concluded many results, the most important of which are: The existence of a strong positive significant correlation between strategic management practices and building the smart organization in the companies. The study concluded with many recommendations, the most important of which are: increasing the interest of companies under the study in strategic management practices, because of their impact on building the smart organization, and achieving competitive priorities in light of the knowledge society and the rapid developments.
