Abstract

Computer linguistics is one of the most important modern sciences that keep pace with technology and advance the human language by taking advantage of the advantages of computers, its data, capabilities and available tools, to employ language databases and available and available linguistic resources, as well as benefit from several pure sciences such as mathematics and logic.

Language and computers are closely and strongly linked. Inserting language into a computer means establishing a dialogue between humans and machines. The more computer technologies develop, the closer they are to simulating human capabilities in the way they work, think, and make decisions as well. It is worth noting that the Arabic language is unique in its formal linguistic characteristics that make it, from a perspective A computational view that can be described and modelled after many efforts by linguists and computers at its various levels of analysis: phonetic, morphological, grammatical, lexical, and semantic. However, the question that arises is whether these characteristics and features that characterize our language are sufficient to computerize it? Or are there problems that require us to look into improving them?
