The study aimed at identifying The effect of the scientific and academic environment on the scientific contributions of Mahjuob Obaid, the unique Sudanese theoretical physics scientist. He was born in 1937, 18 years earlier to the independence of Sudan. He passed away in KSA in 2000 at the age of 63. The study reviewed the life of him since childhood considering his family status being an orphan in a limited income family. Then the study sheds light on his journey of study till university and the emergence of leadership traits, student activities and scientific excellence. The researcher divided the life of Mahjoub into a number of stages:
- The scientific excellence in the life of Mahjoub in Britain
- Returning to Sudan and his rich scientific contributions
- Scientific research in physics and his scientific contributions
- Journey of immigration in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his death there
