Creative Thinking Skills of Science Student teachers at the Faculty of Education/Hajja"

Abstract
The research aims at identifying the availability of creative thinking skill with students teachers in the scientific departments - Faculty of Education/Hajja. The sample was formed of (111) male and female students teachers in the scientific departments (Chemistry – Physics – Biology) in the Faculty of Education/Hajja. In order to achieve the research objectives the Torrance test – the pronounced image – was used to measure the skills of creative thinking (fluency – flexibility – originality) that has been translated into Arabic by Fouad Abo Hutab and Abdulla Suliman, Watson's and Glaser's tests to measure the %Inference – Recognition of Assumption – interpretation - Deduction and evaluating arguments' this was translated into Arabic by Jaber Abdul "ameed Jaber and Yahya "undam, which was sitable according to the Yemeni environment by Sara Al-Hamadi (2002). The research reached the following results:
1- The results obtained showed that the creative thinking skill with students teachers in the scientific departments is available with a weak degree.
2- The research showed the significnat difference between the average marks scored in the availability of the creative thinking skills according to sex %Male – Female' in favour of females; and no statistical difference in the availability of the creative and critical thinking according to the changes in the majors (Chemistry – Physics – Biology) were observed.
