12. The problems facing talented and outstanding students in Al-Mithaq School

Abstract
The research aims to detect the major teaching / learning and psychological problems of students belonging to the National Programme for Gifted and Talented in the capital (Sana'a) and to get some solutions to these problems from the perspective of students (research sample), which consisted of (52) students by (24) students in the primary school and (28) students in the high school from the gifted and talented students at ALmethaq School. The researcher has followed the descriptive research method, where the questionnaire has been used as a tool to achieve the objectives of the research. The reached results were as following:
• The problems as whole as well as the problems of teaching / learning were presented in the research sample in a large extent, while the psychological problems appeared moderately.
• Five very large problems appeared in the sample search, according to the following order:
1. I feel that those supporting the national program has abandoned us.
2. I did not receive books for the enrichment subjects.
3. I do not trust the promises made to me by those responsible for the program.
4. There is no scientific sessions or scientific summer activities.
5. I hope that I do a number of activities and projects, but I can't find enough money.
• Statistically significant differences were found between the mean of scores of these problems as a whole and for each axis separately in favor the high school students and with a large effect.
The research found a number of proposed solutions from the point of view of gifted and talented students (research sample), and a number of recommendations and proposals.
