Abstract

Abstract:

The study aimed to know the effect of teaching using the investigation strategy in developing scientific educational research of 3rd level students in the Arabic Language Program at The Faculty of Education in Sana'a. To achieve this, the researcher used the quasi-expereimental design. The rsearcher prepared a list of skills necessary for educational research and designed a test to measure the achievement of these skills among the sample of 130 students through pre and post tests. The following results were achieved:

-      There is statistical difference between the averages of the pretest and post test in favor of the post test, the average of the pretest was (1,976047) equivalence percentage of (49. 4%) with standard deviation of (0,2376) while the average of post test was (3. 294) with percentage of (82,35%) and standard deviation of (0,1553).

-      The (t-test) value indicates that this difference is significant at the level of (0,05) which iindactes that the investigation strategy had an effect in developing students’ educational research skills.
