Counseling needs for female students at the Faculty of education at Hail University.
Abstract
The main objective of this study was to investigate the most counseling needs for the female students of faculty of education at Hail University, and its relation with social status, scientific specialization and place of living.
To fulfill the aim of the research, a scale of 35 items distributed among four fields has been prepared. The scale has been applied to a sample of (281) female student chosen randomly from faculty of education, the data is analyzed by using Mean, T test and ANNOVA.
The results indicated that the order of female student needs priorities according to the students point of view in the four fields of the study are as follows: Vocational needs, Academic needs, Psychological needs and Social needs.
The results also indicated that there is no significant difference between the Mean scores of the student concerning their counseling needs according to the social status variable, scientific specialization and place of living.
