Abstract

The current study aimed to know the relationship between psychological stability and university integration in the Department of Social Sciences at Dhofar University and to know both the level of psychological stability and university integration among them, and to reveal the differences in psychological stability and university integration according to the study variables. The study tools were applied to the scales (psychological stability - university integration) on a sample of (268) male and female students who were selected in a simple random way. The study followed the descriptive correlational approach. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is that the level of psychological stability and the level of academic integration among students of the College of Arts and Applied Sciences at Dhofar University is high. The study also found a direct correlation (positive) between psychological stability and university integration among students of the Department of Social Sciences at the College of Arts and Applied Sciences at Dhofar University, and the absence of statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (0.05) or less in the answers of the study sample members about (psychological stability, university integration) according to the gender variable, and the housing variable. It also resulted in the possibility of predicting university integration through psychological stability among students of the Department of Social Sciences at the College of Arts and Applied Sciences at Dhofar University. The study concluded with recommendations, the most important of which is educating and qualifying students with the university's systems and regulations so that students become psychologically stable and integrate with the university and its activities.
