Abstract
This study aimed to review and analyze research methods and characteristics of Arabic studies conducted in relation to teachers of gifted students from 2000 to 2017, which were published in the databases of the library of the Arabian Gulf University. It focused on major findings of these studies. To achieve this objective, an analytical method was applied to a sample of (42) published and unpublished studies, using a research instrument developed by the researchers. The results revealed that the objectives of most of the studies reviewed focused on the competencies of teachers of gifted students. The most common method used was the descriptive method, depending on quantitative data collected through questionnaires. In addition, most of the samples were randomly selected whose sizes ranged between 200-250 participants, covering male and female teachers.
