Skills of Developing Creative Thinking Skills Practiced by Social Education Teachers in Wadi Al-Seer District in the Jordan capital

Abstract
The current study aims at identifying the degree of practisingdeveloping creative thinking skills from the point of view of the teachers of social education in the Wadi Al-Seer District in the capital of Jordan. In order to achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire was developed consisting of (44) paragraph divided into five areas (fluency, flexibility, originality, paying attention to details and sensitivity to problems skills). The sample of the study consisted of all teachers of social education which is (105) teachers in the Wadi Al-Seer District in the Capital Governorate of Jordan. The sample of reliability was excluded from the total number of the society, as well as the questionnaires that met the requirements of the statistical analysis. Thus, the sample of the final study consisted of (75) teachers. The results of the study showed that the degree of practisingdeveloping creative thinking skills by the teachers of the social education in the Wadi Al-Seer District in the Capital Governorate of Jordanwas medium and in all fields. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to gender variable in all fields of study except for the field of originality skill and the tool as a whole. The differences were in favour of females and there were no statistically significant differences due to a variableof years of experience in all fields of study and the tool as a whole, except for the skill of originality and the differences were in favour of (11 years and over).
