Abstract

This paper aims to find ways to motivate and support entrepreneurial projects in Algeria , finding the missing link between universities, which produce creative ideas, and economic enterprises, seeking ways of development, integration in global economy and to cope with fierce competition from global companies who have acquired the internal market by relying more on R & D. Marketing of outputs of scientific research has been proposed to develop a marketing plan to universities and research centers in selecting strategic areas (area of activity, area of competition and area of market).

  Consequently, this paper has addressed three areas: the first focuses on ways to support entrepreneurship, the second is interested in the proposed framework to build a marketing plan of the university and research centers, and the third aims to develop a strategic diagnosis of Algerian university adopting the SWOT model and drawing conclusions.

  The study identified the strengths and weaknesses with the opportunities and threats that the most important characteristic of Algerian universities. The results confirmed the availability of a favorable climate and a good base to start a community partnership between universities and business enterprises in Algeria, despite that fact does not reflect the existence of these indicators to the expected level. And therefore we proposed a series of recommendations from the strategic analysis that can benefit from their support for innovation and creativity in Algeria.
