Organizational Diagnosis and its Relationship to Work Engagement among Hafr Al-Batin University's' Faculty Members

Abstract
The study aimed to reveal the reality of organizational diagnosis and the reality of work engagement of Hafr Al-Batin Universitys' faculty members, and the nature of the relationship between them. The study used the descriptive, correlational approach, and used the Weisbord's Six-Box scale for organizational diagnosis, and the UWES-9 scale for work engagement, to collect data from the study sample of (176) members of the university's faculty. The results of the study showed that the reality of the organizational diagnosis of the university Hafar Al-Batin reached a high score with an arithmetic mean (3.66) and a standard deviation (0.807), and the presence of statistically significant differences between the averages of the study sample’s responses to the reality of organizational diagnosis due to the gender variable, in favor of females, and the presence of differences in the goal dimension due to the academic rank variable due to the benefit of assistant professor and associate professor. The study revealed that there were differences in the dimension of (relations) due to academic rank and in favor of assistant professor. The results also showed that the job integration of the sample members was at a high degree, with an arithmetic mean of (3.84) and a standard deviation of (0.850). There was also the presence of Statistically significant differences between the averages of the study sample’s responses to the reality of work engagement in the two dimensions (dedication and involvement) due to the gender variable, in favor of males.
