Abstract
In the context of globalization, international integration and cooperation, particularly in the field of culture, have contributed to enhancing the status, role, and reputation of both nations and localities on the global stage. Da Nang City has taken advantage of external factors while promoting internal strengths, gradually establishing multilateral and bilateral cooperative relationships with international partners to foster cultural development and preserve as well as promote national identity. However, the practical implementation still faces several limitations, such as the lack of specific mechanisms and policies; cultural products and services being monotonous and lacking uniqueness; fragmented and small-scale investments in the cultural market; limited quantity and quality of human resources; and a shortage of investment resources from international organizations. Based on the analysis and evaluation of the current situation, this paper proposes solutions to improve the effectiveness of international integration and cooperation in cultural development in Da Nang City in the current period.
