Abstract

The study aimed to understand the impact of intellectual capital, in all its dimensions, on building entrepreneurial capabilities, in all their dimensions, for employees of the University of Science and Technology, Aden. To achieve the study's objectives, the descriptive analytical approach was followed, and a questionnaire was used as a data collection tool from a simple random sample of (150) individuals from a study population of (208) administrative and academic employees as the target group. Only (123) questionnaires were valid for statistical analysis. SPSS software was used for data analysis. The study reached several key findings: a strong positive correlation between the dimensions of intellectual capital (human, structural, and customer) individually in building entrepreneurial capabilities in all their dimensions. Structural capital ranked first, followed by customer capital, then human capital. The study also showed a positive role of intellectual capital in its various dimensions (human, structural, and customer) in achieving entrepreneurial capabilities (creativity, opportunity seizing, risk-taking) for university employees. The study recommended the necessity of investing in training and development to enhance employee skills, investing in information technology to improve human resource management systems, and establishing a unit to follow up with graduates and provide them with necessary support.
