Abstract
This research aims to know the role of modern communication technology in the educational process, identify the most important tools on which modern communication technology depends in education, and indicate the most important obstacles faced by modern communication technology with regard to its role in education. This research seeks to answer a central question: What is the role of modern communication technology in the educational process? The research adopted a descriptive and analytical approach. He reached a number of results, the most important of which are: Modern communication technology plays an important role in the educational process, for the teacher, the student and the curriculum. There are audio-visual tools on which communication technology relies in the educational process, linked to communication technology tools and applications. Modern communication technology has developed rapidly in many fields, and this has resulted in facilitating human life and changing his way of life, and dyeing his life quickly and accurately. Modern teaching methods are numerous, and they are all related to technology and communication. The use of communication technology in education always keeps education in line with global developments.
