##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
Abstract
The research aims to explore the most important challenges facing young people in Qatar, in their moral, psychological, social and behavioral aspects, the factors that contribute to their emergence, and the intervention mechanisms that can be resorted to to alleviate them. An integrative approach was used to collect quantitative data through a questionnaire for a sample of 493 young people in Qatari universities, and qualitative data through seven discussion panels and two personal interviews, and secondary data by collecting official statistics. Quantitative data were statistically analyzed using SPSS, and thematic analysis of qualitative data was conducted using MAXQDA. Findings highlight positive traits, such as high averages of charitable deeds, but also reveal psychological problems, including anxiety, depression, and intellectual stress. The study recommends addressing negative behaviors and psychological and social diseases through rapid intervention, involving youth in developing support programs, and conducting more follow-up studies to track progress.
