Abstract

This study aimed to exploring Level of the family environment supportive of the gift growth as perceived gifted pupils and its relationship with some demographic variables, and its descriptive study. applied on the pupils of the gifted schools in Khartoum state. The researcher application two tools: primary data form, supportive family environment for the gift growth scale, and applied those tools on the stratified random sample size was (338, including (173) males and (165) females with percentages 51.2% versus 48.8%, and also including (198) from primary stage, (140) from Secondary stage, with percentage 58.6% and 41.4% Respectively. And after processors collected data by the statistical program (SPSS) study found the following results: The supportive family environment for the gift growth as Perceived by gifted pupils a statistically significant increase in the total degree and most its dimensions, , Except the physical environment it's level statistically significant low, Also showed they is no statistically significant differences exist on the Supportive environment and it's dimensions attributed to the variable gender, while there is significant differences attributed the original habitat in favor of urban. And also there was significant positive correlation between the overall degree and the dimensions (physical environment, family awareness, enrichment knowledge), and the parents education, while no statistically significant correlation with dimensions (social climate, pedagogical methods, psychological climate). and there was significant positive correlation between the overall degree and it's dimensions and variable family economic level, while it's correlation with variable family size is negative significant. These results were discussed and study was concluded by recommendations based result.
