Abstract

 


This study aimed at identifying the practices associated with implementing total quality management in higher education institutions in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (180) individuals administrative academic ,selected randomly.They represent, approximately, (5%) of the total study population, which was (3568) employees working in Jordanian public and private universities.The tool usedin collecting data is a questionnaire composed of 041) itemes After conducting the appropriate statistical analysis, the researcher reached the following results:


- The requirements of the application of TotaL Quality Management (TQM) in Jordanian universities in the the field  of  a faculty members showed that they are within  the high level.


- The requirements of the application of TQM in Jordanian universities in the teaching process showed that  they are within the high level.


- The requirements of the application of TQM in Jordanian universities in the field of student showed that they are within  the high level.


- There is no difference in the requirements of the application of TQM in higher education institutions in Jordan from the academics administrators point of view depending on gender variable.


- There is no difference in the requirements of the application of TQM in higher education institutions in Jordan from the academics administrators point of view depending on experience variable.
