Abstract
International cooperation plays a fundamental role in achieving the goals and development of higher education in Algeria. This paper highlights the role of agreements and partnerships with international educational and research institutions in improving the quality of education and expanding the horizons of scientific research. It explains their mechanisms and obstacles, and emphasizes that openness to international experiences enhances the efficiency of the education system. Through student exchange programs, international workshops, and joint projects, Algerian students and researchers gain opportunities to develop their skills and expand their ideas in line with the requirements of the national and global market. This research also emphasizes that the success of international cooperation requires strategic planning and clear frameworks with specific objectives, while ensuring respect for and preservation of cultural differences. It also emphasizes the need to integrate the advantages of traditional education with modern pedagogical methods, highlighting the importance of government support to ensure the sustainability of these efforts. In conclusion, investing in international cooperation is a lever for achieving the strategic goals of higher education in Algeria, building an academic generation capable of facing contemporary challenges, and enhancing Algeria's international educational standing.
