Abstract

This study aimed to identify the availability of quality standards in the book "Introduction to Computer Science" from perspective of "Computer Skills" course' lecturers at Al-Aqsa University in Gaza and detect their general appreciation of the book. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and after studying the pedagogical literature and previous studies had prepared a questionnaire. Which consisted of (60) items spread over (4) domains. The questionnaire electronically distributed on a simple of (16)  members who taught the book during the academic year (2013-2014). The study came to the following results: (75%) of respondents believe the book is suitable for teaching. In spite of (43%) of the item didn't the acceptable level of education.
