Abstract

The present study was designed to explore the effectiveness of using brainstorming strategy on of the preparatory year students at the University of Qassim their creative thinking skills in the course of thinking and learning skills, The population of the study consisted of (255) male  The first level students, distributed among tenth classes.
Two classes were randomly selected to form two cluster groups; an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group consisted of ( ) male students while the control group consisted of ( ) male students The results showed that there were statistically significant   differences on students' achievements, and on developing their creative thinking skills both in the total results of the test and in each single skill examined (fluency, flexibility and originality) in the favor of experimental group.
