The Role of Administrative Governance in Fighting Administrative Corruption in the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the role of administrative governance in the fight against administrative corruption in the Palestinian Higher Education ministry. To achieve this objective, the descriptive method was followed, using a questionnaire as a tool for collecting relevant data. The questionnaire was administered to a sample of (180) staff members from the Ministry of Higher Education. The results showed that the aspects of the administrative governance in fighting administrative corruption in the ministry of higher education scored these results: rule of law (61.53%); accountability (61.14%); equity and equality (59.35%), partnership (58.29%); whereas the overall score of governance was (59.75). Furthermore, there were no statistically significant differences in the role of administrative governance in fighting administrative corruption in the Ministry of Higher Education that can be attributed to the variable of gender, academic qualification or experience.
