The objective of the present study was to investigate the leadership style prevailing in the University “Mohamed Debageen , Setif II, in Algeria, from faculty members perspective. Statistical differences in the viewpoint of faculty towards leadership styles was investigated based on the variables (gender, specialty, academic position, and professional experience). The study was carried out using a survey questionnaire of 60 questions grouped in there major elements measuring the three different leadership styles (Democratic, Charismatic, and Loose style). The statistical analysis of the survey results shows that the charismatic leadership style is the most prevailing at the university regardless of the independent variables.there were no stalically significant differences due to the variable of the study sample.
