الملخص

This research study aims to investigate the voluntary works in Islam foremost of which are education, providing loans, giving considerations to the insolvent, agriculture, watering, providing food, digging wells and clothing the naked . To achieve the objective of this study, the researcher depended on the sources relevant to the topic of the study. The researcher collected the data from different books and reviewed the Sharia provisions and devised the Islamic provisions that have connection to the voluntary work in Islam. The study found that voluntary work is providing relief to the needy, without any charges, just for sake of Allah, spreading knowledge, and providing education opportunities as the first necessity for human development that Islam encourages; agricultural development leads to human development through providing opportunities for those who want to work and this leads to food security for any nation; providing food, drinks, clothes and digging wells are voluntary works, encouraged by the Islamic Sharia, which also give a glad tiding for Paradise.
