The Effect of Developed Program Based on of The Theory of Inventive Problem Solving - TRIZ- on The Development of Creativity and Innovation to The Gifted and Talented in Jordan

Abstract
This study aimed to show the effect of a training program on the creativity and innovation according to The Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) in the development of thinking skills, creativity and innovation. It has been implemented on a sample of gifted and talented students in Al-Borj secondary school. The researcher has designed and built a comprehensive and complete training program, where he has chosen a group of basic skills in the theory of TRIZ and implemented the training program according it. By using the semi-experimental approach he divided the study sample into two groups; one of them was experimental where he applied the training program on and the other was just as adjuster where he has not applied the training program on. He has also applied the ability of creative thinking test (Torrance Test) on the two groups before and after applying the program. The results showed: no differences between the two groups before the applying the program whereas the difference was clear the two groups after the applying it where the favor was for the experimental group. The study recommended a set of recommendations one of them is to adopt and apply the program on all schools and centers that provide various services for the gifted and talented students due to its positive impact on the targeted sample.
