Abstract:

The last decades witnessed a lot of new developed technologies  inducing theoretical and practical changes in many fields, such as education, telecommunication, information technology etc. Education technology is one of the fields which intervened many developments due to modern technologies and computers.  Education technology is measured on the basis of availability of new technologies and its applications both theoretically and practically as well as throughout student’s perception and their competence for professional skills specially in practice. Actually the faculty of Science and Engineering at University of Science and Technology   tries to enhance new facilities to prepare engineers with high professional skills specially in Architecture department. So this paper deals with following question:

To which extent senior students elaborate  the professional skills depending on new technologies?

The broad aim of this research is to determine the Perfection Extent of Professional Skills  for  senior  students at  Architecture, on the basis of observing the professional skills which engineers should acquire to be able to deal with the target market with competency.

The research community has included all senior students ( 30 students) at the University of Science and Technology in Sana'a Republic of Yemen for the academic year 2009/2010 .

 It has been used open questionnaire for faculty members and engineering companies operating in the area in order to identify the necessary professional skills of students graduated from the Department of Architecture and then convert these skills list to the note card with five scale. (Rubric).

 The most important results reached by research is that, there are six skills head of the department of architecture necessary for graduates and essential requirements of the labor market and to the existence of low apparent in some of the skills in the department need to appropriate treatments .
