A proposed Method for Implementing Sudan HE QA Criteria in the light of International Ranking of Universities
Abstract:
This paper studies the application of modern methods of quality assurance criteria in Sudanese higher education in the light of the global rankings of universities. The criteria involve two important factors: technology and knowledge, which have great role in developing and enhancing the scientific research and educational process. The descriptive analytical and experimental methods are used in this research. The results of this study may shed the light on how to put strategic and effective quality assurance criteria that help developing university systems and outputs.
The researcher has designed a program for quality assurance application to insure the quality of higher education in Sudan based on the modern concepts of quality assurance in higher educational institutes (University of Khartoum model), that is basically depend on the selection of performance pattern rate and the construction of quality systems in education. The proposed program focused on the application of quality assurance to upgrade and improve universities level to cope and face the global ranking of universities.
The results showed there is a significant difference between experimental and control group, which confirms that the application of the quality assurance program may lead to the quality of the global classification.
