Abstract

Abstract: The assessment of professional dispositions for candidates enrolled in teachers' preparation programs is complicated for universities seek accreditation. The difficulty comes from the disagreement on defining the concept and  its broad-spectrum; Hence the need for assessment tools take a place to provide universities with information  about the quality of learning outcomes, including the set of values , beliefs, and commitments held by graduates, which can be measured through observed indicators.  The current research addresses methods for assessing professional dispositions in some universities, according to the framework of academic accreditation standards.  The paper also presents results of COE candidates' professional dispositions assessment using a tool that has been developed for this purpose.
