Abstract
The strategic plan for quality assurance at Abu Bakr Belkaid University in Algeria
Abstract:
Received quality in the higher education system the attention of all countries, the global consciousness on this issue began to spread and generalized through international forums and reference texts, including educational institutions and those on higher education and assessment bodies in all countries of the world.
In turn, Algerian universities seeks to develop a system configuration corresponds to the international standards applicable to study pedagogical program, and evaluating student according to these international standards, targeted to be graduates competitors and successful in global labor markets, and are able to meet the needs of the community of sustainable development. This requires more efforts and work to provide the appropriate ground for consolidating the principles of total quality adopted by Abu Bakr Belkaid University - Tlemcen to rise to international standards in the field of science and knowledge, through a strategic plan designed to ensure quality and excellence in performance.
This research aims to discuss the reasons for quality in higher education in Algeria through the diagnosis and reality of Algerian universities and evaluate everything that sought to ensure the quality of higher education, then propose a strategic plan for Abu Bakr Belkaid University, to ensure quality and continuous improvement, and hope for the emergence elite university.
